Fees:
- All fees are current at the time of going to print; however, we reserve the right to change them.
- We also reserve the right to cancel & postpone events & event dates. Where possible 5 working days notice will be given.
Additional Delegate Rates:
- Additional delegate rates apply when bookings are made at the same time on the same course, see special rates, group rates and early bird specials for more information.
Delegates Traveling from outside Johannesburg:
- Please do not book flights, accommodation, rental cars etc. until you have received your confirmation letter from us stating that the event has been confirmed and is going ahead. We will not be liable for any traveling costs incurred due to us canceling an event. 5 working days will be given if cancellations occur.
Delegate Substitution: Allowed up to 1 day prior to event
- Delegates may send a replacement substitute in circumstances where the initial delegate is not able to attend. Substitutes can be made up to 1 day prior to the event without incurring a penalty. Please inform us so we can make the necessary arrangements for the new delegate. If no substitute is sent - the full fee is then liable. Notification can be made via email or telephone. Payment: No later than 48 hours before event
- Payment can be made by cheque or by electronic transfer.Please quote the reference number from your invoice so that payments can be tracked.
- Delegates will not be allowed to attend without payment having been received.
- For late bookings - payment can be made on the morning of the event.
Cancellation: 10 working days prior to event
- All cancellations must be done in writing and emailed directly to The Hedgehog Event at cancellations@thehedgehogevent.com. We require 10 working days notice in order to cancel your booking. Any bookings made within this 10 working day period will not be allowed to cancel.
IF YOU DO NOT HEAR BACK FROM US, PLEASE CALL US TO CONFIRM RECEIPT OF THIS CANCELLATION.
If you do not get receipt of cancellation from us - 100% of the fee is liable.
- Under severe circumstances like illness, where it is not possible to give 10 days notice (where a medical certificate can be produced), we will transfer the booking if no substitute can be sent. Please note that in this case R550.00 all inclusive per day will have to be charged over and above the registration cost to cover any confirmed meals, training facilitators & printing incurred from your booking.
Transfers & Postponements:
- The transfer option only applies to delegates who are transferring to a different date for the same course.
- Transfers can only be made up to 10 working days prior to the course, after which point the registration is considered to be a cancellation.
- The option to transfer can only be used once within the year period, after which non – attendance will be treated as a cancellation and all outstanding invoices will be due.
Joint & Several Liability:
- All obligations to The Hedgehog Event by the delegate and the company are joint and several.
Training Blocks: 5 working days notice required for all changes
- Delegates booked on training block modules may only change their date options once per workshop – 5 working days notice is required to move the booking. If changes occur and 5 days notice have not been given we will not be able to move the booking under any circumstances. Any workshops not completed in the 2007 period forfeit the balance of their training modules.
Breakfast Sessions:
- Bookings for breakfast sessions cannot be cancelled once booked. Substitutes may be added in cases where delegates cannot attend. If you book & do not attend – you are liable for 100% of the fee.
