Employers, regardless of which provider they use, may claim back the mandatory grants (amounting to 60% of their levies paid, at the moment) for meeting their SETA’s requirements for workplace skills planning and reporting on implementation of the Workplace Skills Plan. Thereafter, employers might be able to claim a grant, from Discretionary funds, towards the costs of skills programmes (which may only be offered by accredited providers). We are in the process of registering with our SETA.
